Where It All Began
The Sylva Waltz has been born out of a dream…
My late Mother was my inspiration and always had the desire to run her very own little tea and cake shop. She understood and instilled in me the importance of family, doing something extraordinary and doing it well…
My parents, Sylvia and Walter lived their lives to the full and were keen dancers in their era of the Quick Step, Fox Trot and of course the Waltz.
Their journey has given me the passion to create Sylva & deliver an unforgettable experience for her guests.

CAROLINE & PAUL
Owners
Caroline & Paul provide a charismatic combination behind the bar. Boasting 20 years’ experience within the hospitality industry, they know the importance of attention to detail, of understanding the client and delivering something really special. Paul’s passions lie with all things Vintage, motorcars and time with the family. The Sylva Waltz provides the perfect platform for them to do what they do best and for you to impress your guests!

Luke, Millie and Freya
The rest of the Sylva Team is comprised of Caroline’s three children, Luke, Millie & Freya. All have inherited their parents love for hospitality, entertaining & job satisfaction. Ensuring that Sylva delivers seamless service and an excellent experience, additional staff are always on hand to offer tray service, keep the area spotless and ensure that the bar is fully stocked and well supported.

When The Sylva Waltz is on duty, she will be ready to serve you with locally Roasted Artisan Coffee, tea and cake or if you prefer, something from our Specialty Gin range. Perhaps you might prefer draught lager, ale, prosecco or Pimms?
